GUARDIANS
The series “Guardians” was started before the COVID-19 pandemic and intensified during 2021.
It embodies all the mentors who are present in Ilka Lemos’ life. They are connected with the Earth, poetry and life wisdom and re-emerged in the face of the dark and uncertain reality that was established at the beginning of 2020.
The protective figures appeared as security statements and were materialized in sculptures of different shapes and sizes.
